WEB-BASED INFORMATION SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING REPORT CARD GRADES FOR THE INDEPENDENT CURRICULUM AT SENOPATI HIGH SCHOOL

Abstract
Currently, Senopati High School has implemented a grade processing system to facilitate the academic assessment process. However, the system used is still based on the old curriculum, so it does not meet the needs of class X students who have implemented the Independent Curriculum. As a result, the assessment of report cards for class X is still done manually using Microsoft Excel. In addition, the user interface (UI) of the existing system is considered impractical, making it difficult for teachers to operate the system. This research aims to design and build a new value processing system that is in accordance with the needs of the Independent Curriculum and has a simpler and easy-to-use interface. The methodology used in this study is Rapid Application Development (RAD) with several stages, including, Requirements Planning, which is identifying and analyzing system needs to solve problems, User Design, which is making system designs according to user needs, Construction, which is the stage of system development using the PHP, HTML and MySQL programming languages as the database, and Cutover, which is system testing. The design and development of this system produces a web-based application that can make it easier for teachers to manage student report cards according to the Independent Curriculum at Senopati High School while providing a better user experience. The results of the black-box test showed that all system features functioned well. Meanwhile, the results of the user experience trial using the System Usability Scale with 24 respondents showed an average score of 85.2. This score indicates the "Acceptable" category based on the SUS standard interpretation, indicating that the system is considered very easy to use, efficient, and satisfactory for users.
