Website-Based Manifest Data Management Information System at BPTD Port Service Unit

Abstract
The rapid development of information technology forces government agencies to optimize data management systems which are useful for increasing efficiency in managing data. Balai Pengelola Transportasi Darat Kelas II Sumatera Utara as one of the government agencies responsible for managing land transportation as a whole in the province of North Sumatra requires an information system that is able to manage manifest data in an integrated and real-time manner. This study aims to design a website-based manifest data management information system that can facilitate the process of inputting, storing, processing, and reporting manifest data. The system is designed using the PHP programming language and MySQL database and using HTML and CSS. The results of this study are a website-based information system that is able to integrate all manifest data, providing easy access for users. This system is expected to improve operational performance better at the Balai Pengelola Transportasi Darat Kelas II Sumatera Utara, especially in port units.
