DESIGN AND BUILDING OF AN INVENTORY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM WITH AUTO GENERATE FEATURES FOR ORDERING GOODS AT SHENDA FLORIST

Abstract

Effective inventory management is an important aspect in supporting business operations, especially in the field of decorations and buckets such as those run by Shenda Florist. However, manual management often poses obstacles, such as inaccurate stock information, difficulties in tracking goods, and delays in material procurement. To overcome these problems, this research aims to design a web-based inventory management system with an auto generate item order feature, which allows the system to automatically send orders to suppliers when the stock reaches the minimum limit. Development using the waterfall method, includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. As a result, the system was successfully built using Laravel, Bootstrap, and Mysql, and tested using the Black box method with the results of all functions running as expected. This system improves the efficiency of stock management, minimizes recording errors, and ensures optimal availability of goods.
