Education is important for humans. In general, people in Indonesia want their sons and daughters to be able to get an education at State Universities (PTN). There are many paths that can be taken to PTN, one of which is the National Selection for State University Entrance (SNMPTN) which is the PTN entrance route without a test or selection of report cards. However, the quota for acceptance of PTN through the SNMPTN pathway is at least 20% and the passing grade of each PTN cannot be determined so that the possibility of being accepted into PTN through the SNMPTN route is unknown. Therefore, to be able to predict students who can be accepted into PTN through the SNMPTN path, predictions of SNMPTN acceptance are made using classification data mining with the C4.5 and Naive Bayes algorithm. The goal is that with students knowing the possibility of being accepted into PTN through the SNMPTN pathway, it is hoped that more students can be accepted by PTN through the SNMPTN pathway. This study shows that the prediction of PTN acceptance through the SNMPTN path using data mining classification with the C4.5 algorithm produces a much higher accuracy of 85,09% and the AUC value 0,873, while the Naive Bayes algorithm produces an accuracy of 63,01% and the AUC value
2023-12-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Melek IT : Information Technology Journal https://melekit-if.uwks.ac.id/melekit/article/view/306 SALES PERFORMANCE RATING INFORMATION SYSTEM AT PT CAHAYA MOTOR SURABAYA USING AHP METHOD 2023-11-20T10:37:11+00:00 Alvian Vian alvianpramudya@gmail.com Noven Indra Prasetya noven@uwks.ac.id
In today's modern era, giving awards to sales who have high performance is needed so that sales performance is always good and optimal. Population administration includes transfer letters, entry letters, birth certificates, death certificates, breaking out family cards, making KTP (Identification Cards), etc. The recording of the cover letter for population administration in RT 02 Ketintang Baru is handled by the Neighbourhood Head using Excel data processing tools. However, in the process this still raises several problems, including the presentation of information that is less organized and the process of making cover letters for residents is not yet automatic. This is because residents have to wait to meet directly with the Neighbourhood Head and are very dependent on the presence of the Neighbourhood Head. Therefore, an information system is needed that can improve the quality of service and make it easier for Neighbourhood Head and residents to prepare cover letters for population administration. Apart from that, this information system is website-based which allows residents to submit a cover letter for population administration to the Neighbourhood Head online. The method for creating the system uses waterfall. The implementation of this system is based on a dynamic website using PHP with data storage using MySQL. The amount of milkfish cultivation that can be produced from ponds located on the north coast of Gresik Regency has a high potential value to be utilized as processed fish products. One of the most widely produced processed fish products is milkfish crackers. The availability of easily obtained raw materials does not make it difficult to process fish crackers. Drying crackers by drying in the sun will run smoothly in hot weather or dry season. However, when entering the rainy season, there are often many obstacles, namely the heat of the sun that does not match what is needed, such as cloudy weather and even if it suddenly rains, which sometimes causes mold on the crackers because there is not enough time to take the crackers that are being dried. The drying process must always be supervised directly by humans, besides that there are several types of crackers with different compositions that have different drying times. This tool is enabled to recognize the weather including light intensity, air temperature, and rainfall so that it is considered more efficient to use during the rainy season. The user simply puts the fish crackers on the clothesline and when the tool recognizes rainy or cloudy conditions, the fish cracker clothesline will be pulled by an electric motor to be put into the room. When the user is away, the clothesline can also be monitored and controlled remotely. As a result, the IoT-based Automatic Cracker Clothesline System can recognize whether the weather is sunny, hot, or rainy. The system can also extend the clothesline automatically when the weather is sunny or hot, the system can pull the clothesline when it rains or cloudy automatically. The system can send notifications to the smartphone according to the weather conditions and the position of the clothesline being pulled or extended in realtime, the system can display the indicators of each sensor to the smartphone. Users can also enter the drying time and minimum temperature range into the system. As a result, the system can run well to recognize the weather around the cracker clothesline and can insert crackers when it is raining, cloudy or when the drying time has expired automatically.
2023-12-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Melek IT : Information Technology Journal https://melekit-if.uwks.ac.id/melekit/article/view/361 USABILITY ANALYSIS OF THE LEARNING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AT WASKITA AMIKOM UNIVERSITY: APPROACH TO THE SYSTEM USABILITY SCALE 2024-02-03T02:30:38+00:00 Arvin Claudy Frobenius arvinclaudy@amikom.ac.id Oktario Ronny Pramuji pram@students.amikom.ac.id Oktaviana Wulan Hutabriandari oktaviana@students.amikom.ac.id Ammar Waly Majid ammar@students.amikom.ac.id Danang Saputro Wibowo dsaputro.wibowo@students.amikom.ac.id F.X. Decision Trees are used to form decision trees that are easy to interpret and enable statistical pattern recognition. Research is based on UKT group criteria, social studies and GPA scores, student semesters, and credits taken. Research data was taken through a literature study from the Kaggle web platform regarding the number of students who withdrew. The research results show that the highest rate of resignation occurs among students who are not active in organizations. Even though students with a GPA in the range of 3.00-3.78 experienced withdrawal, the findings confirmed that GPA was not the main reason. The smallest UKT group (2-3) shows a lower withdrawal rate than the largest UKT group. This confirms that students who are less active in organizations are the students who resign the most. As a strategy to increase student participation, research recommends that students increase awareness and promote organizational activities, lecturers can create coaching and guidance programs, academic support. This strategy can help create a campus environment that supports student participation in organizational activities.
2023-12-31T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Melek IT : Information Technology Journal
